Do you have piles of bottle caps waiting to be recycled? In our previous post, we added magnets and made bottle caps magnets, How about adding alphabet stickers inside the bottle caps for making words and spelling fun!
Bottle Lids
Adhesive Button Magnets/Magnetic tape (I bought them from Walmart. You can also use non adhesive circle magnets and Hot glue them)
Alphabet stickers (We got a small pack of them from Walmart craft aisle for less then a dollar)
We made the bottle cap magnets and added the alphabet sticker to the inside of the bottle caps. We made all the alphabets, few extra vowels and consonants.
Cj(my daughter) loved playing around with them and she created all the alphabets. We used cookie box lid, you can use cookie tray too!
Cj proudly displaying the alphabets in order.
Stick the magnets on the cookie tray and play around spelling words
Bottle Cap Alphabet magnets are inexpensive, easy to make. It's a fun way to recycle the bottle lids with an added advantage of learning while play.
After playing with the magnets as usual we stored them in the cookie boxes. The boxes can be carried along, easy to store and the lids can be used for the magnetic play
