Why are u playing with Tissue box? It's not Tissue box! They are Puppets!
Tissue boxes are our favorite recycling material. We love playing around with them. This time we created Pig and Wolf hand puppets using Tissue boxes. We used kid friendly Origami folds to create the pig and wolf face.
We are also participating in the 3rd Tissue box challenge hosted by Jdaniel4's Mom.
Empty Square Tissue Boxes(oval opening)
Markers
Construction paper
Child safe scissors
Double sides tape/Glue stick
To make a puppet we just left the hand inside the opening and got our base for the puppet. On the other side of the opening we glued Origami Pig and wolf face. We can also play pretend boxing with the boxes as Boxer Gloves:-)
This is an easy Origami Pig face for kids with simple, easy folds.
Take a rectangle pink construction paper.
Fold in half along the vertical axis as shown
Again fold in half on the Horizontal axis to make a smaller rectangle
Make folds on the dashed lines in the directions of the arrow. The top two folds are the ears of the pig. The bottom two folds will go towards the backside of the face
Does it look like a pig face already!
Draw Eyes and Nose of the pig. You may also use Googly eyes for the eyes and Pink button for the Nose!
