Hold the crayon, flat side facing the paper and Stamp
Look at the prints!
To tell the truth, though I felt its a cool idea, CJ didn't like it:-( She said "Mommy, Why are you doing that, use the other side to color". So all the artworks shown here are momma's creativity when CJ was @school.
I got the idea of stamping with flat side of crayon after seeing the pencil eraser side stamping idea floating around at pinterest
After stamping with single crayons, I gave a try with bundle of crayons. Found the wonderful idea of bundle crayons over at Teach Preschool blog hosted by Deborah. She is wonderful person. If you haven’t been over to her blog, or her Facebook page(22,138 likes) please take a look. She has a fabulous website with lot of educational and fun hands-on Preschool activities
Bundle up the crayons with rubber bands so that the flat sides form a flower shape.
Stamp on paper!
When CJ came back from school, She got excited when she saw the prints on the paper. She asked "Momma, Did you do that? They look so wonderful!"
Flowers! Flowers!
After seeing CJ's interest in bundle crayons, I think we may do bundle Q-tip stamp, Bundle Pencil stamp! Stay tuned!!
